# How to transfer a domain to Host24

https://www.host24.am/ar/qaidat-al-marifa/maqala/transfer-domain-to-host24

Before you start, check that:

- the domain is older than 60 days and was not transferred in the last 60 days;
- the domain is **unlocked** at your current registrar (transfer lock is off);
- you have the **Auth (EPP) code** from your current registrar;
- the contact email of the domain works, because confirmation emails are sent there.

Then open the **Domain** page, choose **Transfer**, enter your domain and the EPP code, and complete the order. A transfer adds one year to your registration. Most transfers complete in 5–7 days.

Transfer rules for **.am** domains are different. Please contact us before transferring an .am domain and we will guide you.
